Chalet Peter

In our completely renovated Chalet Peter you can relax and unwind during summer and winter! The spacious house offers enough space for large families. The chalet is located in Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße, 7 km from Lake Zell, the ski resort and glacier Zell am See/Kaprun and the Tauern Spa. After a long day of activities, you can relax in the sauna. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the house. From the balcony and terrace you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding Tauern mountains. A sun terrace with a large garden, pond and barbecue is at your exclusive disposal.

Activities

Chalet Peter is located near Zell am See/Kaprun in the beautiful Pinzgau in the village of Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße. In Pinzgau you can enjoy the vacation in an indescribable variety. You can explore the region on numerous hiking routes and bike paths. The Pinzgau is a vacation region for the whole family. 

- For skiing to the Areitbahn a few minutes (8 km) by car or ski bus (bus stop is within walking distance).
- Hohe Tauern National Park, Grossglockner Road, Krimml Waterfalls
- swimming in the lake or adventure pools, surfing/diving, kayaking in the village
- Mountain biking or cycling along the Tauern Cycle Path
- Horseback riding, fishing, tennis, golf, 
- Mountain farms with the possibility of farm sales. 

Winter

The ski resorts of Zell am See and Kaprun with the Kitzsteinhorn glacier attract guests, they are only a few minutes away. The Kohlschnait toboggan run can be reached on foot. There is also a restaurant with its own small brewery here.

The Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See is one of the top family ski areas in Austria. With the new ZellamSeeExpress gondola, the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn area is connected. The resort has become the largest ski area in Austria with 400 km of slopes. From Zell's local mountain, you have unique views of Lake Zell, the Kitzsteinhorn glacier and no less than 30 three-thousand-meter peaks. 

The glacier ski area of the Kitzsteinhorn/Kaprun ensures absolute snow reliability from October to May and the finest winter sports on and off the wide slopes. Great views from 3,000 meters and glittering natural snow of the only glacier ski area in the province of Salzburger warrant plenty of snow for your skiing vacation.

Summer

The beautiful Pinzgau is hard to beat in its variety and many activities. The grassy mountains or the rugged peaks of the Hohe Tauern National Park invite you for hiking and mountaineering. Water sports on Lake Zell offer variety, as do the thundering Krimmer waterfalls. You can stroll, go shopping and dining in the nice town of Zell am See or quiet mountain villages. 

For mountain bikers, the area is a dream with many trails. The Tauern Cycle Path from Salzburg to the Krimml Waterfalls passes below our house.

Exciting are of course also the numerous forces of nature in the region. The Krimml waterfalls, ice caves or gorges - you can discover something everywhere. The Hohe Tauern National Park is overwhelming, it is the highlight of the Pinzgau region with its diverse flora and fauna.
